Broome County Council of Churches Donating Materials to Apartment Fire Victims
December 18, 2008 - The Broome County Council of Churches is accepting material goods to aid the victims of today's apartment fire in Binghamton.
If you have items you would like to donate to the men and women affected, please contact Greg at (607) 724-9130.
Suggested items include:
- Seasonal outerwear for adults
- Beds and furniture
- Towels
- Clothing and shoes for adults
- Cookware and kitchen utensils

December 18, 2008 - Volunteers responded to an apartment fire in Binghamton that displaced 31 people. The American Red Cross, Southern Tier Chapter is providing shelter, food, clothing and other essentials to those displaced.

ENDICOTT, N.Y. -- It's often said that the holiday season is a time of giving. There are some groups that can use even more of that compassion, especially now.
